L’Estruch, Fàbrica de creació de les arts en viu, is a municipal facility in Sabadell which has a number of residency and stage promotion venues. Since 2015 it has been running creation residencies at La Vela, a space that is an addition to its existing rehearsal rooms and theatre.
We are opening a public call for the 2019-20 season for the period FROM SEPTEMBER 2019 TO JULY 2020. In addition to technically-equipped spaces, l’Estruch provides companies with personalised artistic advice to identify improvable aspects in each project and furnish the tools to carry it out. This advice is guided by Jordi Gaspar, the circus artistic director at l’Estruch, and the centre’s management team. It concerns all areas of the production stages: artistic creation, management and any technical aspect of a circus creation.
The companies selected in this call will also be able to use accommodation with a kitchen which they will ALWAYS HAVE TO SHARE with other artists. This service will be provided depending on availability.
